抽丝剥茧，主语是dance，谓语是sings，宾语是the pebbles。所以不能同意郑振铎和冯唐的译法。

不是槌的打击，乃是水的载歌载舞，使鹅卵石臻于完美。

冯唐版本：

不是铁锤

而是流水

唱着跳着把鹅卵石变得异常优美
